POLICY OF THE INDIAN JOURNAL OF ENGLISH STUDIES/GUIDELINES FOR PUBLICATION
The Indian Journal of English Studies, an annual refereed journal is devoted to the cause of promoting original and unpublished articles on Indian writing in English. The major focus, though being on Indian English literature and language, the journal also accepts innovative, original, unpublished thought- provoking, critical and scholarly articles on British, American, and Third World literatures comprising diasporic writings, women’s writing, creativity, culture, popular literature, translation studies, creative writing and many more. While papers presented at AESI (Association for English Studies of India) annual conferences are given due consideration, the journal also welcomes outstanding articles recommended by our celebrated referees.
The journal is published and released usually in December-January depending upon the conference schedules. Contributors can send the soft copies of their articles, creative writings and book reviews to the Editor-in- Chief on email@example.com, followed by hard copies on the editor’s address: C-201, Shivalik Apartments, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Dist. Haridwar, Uttarakhand-247667. Articles must conform to the latest MLA style sheet and should follow standard double spacing norm with appropriate margin. However, the editorial board reserves the right to accept or reject any article. Those interested in getting their books reviewed are requested to send two copies of their books to the editor.
