At the 56th All India English Teachers’ Conference, Bareilly in his maiden Speech as the Chairman of AESI, Dr. Parmanand Jha, announced his intention to honour the ‘Tradition’ and the ‘Contribution’. He instituted two awards – Life Time Achievement and Senior Delegate; to be conferred every year on those Life Members of AESI who have contributed to the growth of the Association throughout their academic careers. These awards have been conferred upon the deserving personalities since 2012 regularly.
